Finwe is improving. He still doesn't want anyone except me. I spent most of the day holding him yesterday. He didn't want to nurse while awake, so my strategy was to get him mostly asleep--before the really deep sleep set in--then put him a propped up nursing position. It was this way that I got him to get any nutrition yesterday.
He has lots of mucus coming from his nose, but it isn't so thick that he can't breathe through his nose. The biggest problem is the gunk going down his throat. He gags on this and then vomits.
When he's not tired, he's happy. A bit less active than he normally is, but still happy. We have discovered that hockey is a good distraction for him, but curling will do in a pinch. I much prefer the curling to the hockey. Downhill skiing does nothing for him, although it makes me long for the days when Phill and I could head to the mountains at a moments notice.

Poor little guy! Poor little mother!
I bet on a day like today you wish that you didn't have a second body attached to you. Hang in there. He is getting so big and before you know it this will be a distant memory.
I remember when you and Phill went skiing with friends and took Inwe along. You were planning on skiing too, until you found out you were pregnant -- with Larien! Thanks when I found out #2 was on the way.
