Planning Ahead

As of now, Finwe falls asleep either tightly swaddled or he gets swaddled after he falls asleep. His legs are free; it's just the arms that I'm trying to keep from flailing about. The flail of the arms wakes him up. I remember this happening with Larien a little bit, Inwe not at all, but with Finwe the arms will be a problem.

Teaching him to fall asleep on his own is working pretty well. He's getting better at it. (I'm so jealous of those moms who have babies that arrive knowing how to fall asleep on their own. Ask anyone in my family--none of my newborns have magically fallen asleep without some type of intervention.)

What I'm worried about is how do I wean him off the swaddled arms?

Falling asleep on his own? Wow...I really must get back to reading that book...can't even remember the name right now. That sleeping book....Ok I'm tired. What I'm trying to say is: Isabelle doesn't fall asleep on her own and I would like her to.
