Swing Low Sweet Chariot

Here is my poor baby, all snotty and feverish (well if it weren't for Tylenol) in the swing. I used this yesterday while the girls were sleeping so my left arm and shoulder as well as my back could get a rest. Lugging around a nearly 20 pound baby for most of the day is quite difficult. The Baby Bjorn carrier isn't helpful because he wants to suckle on my shoulder or his hand.

If you would hear him you would make a sad face at hoarse moan issuing from his mouth.

Just a bit more about the swing. I remember when Phill brought it home from the store four years ago. He told me that it wasn't the lowest model, but it wasn't the top model either. I think he paid between $75-$100 for it. I couldn't believe the price. I thought it was too high. Now that we have three children, the price is nothing. Plus, our friends in Roanoke used it for their second child. A pretty good use of the money.

The green blanket makes another appearence! Do you think in a year, the swing will be ready for a new home?

Poor guy. I hope he feels better soon.
