I have a challenge ahead of me. It's one of those marathon challenges with lots of hills and valleys. There are two of us in this challenge, and I can tell you the ending. I will win.
What is this challenge?
Getting Finwe to sleep without needing me, or more specifically without my breast in his mouth.
I know the way. I have done it twice before. I will do it again. It will take time. It will take a bit of hardship. I will win.
Do not tell me to try pacifiers. He will not take one.
Do not tell me to let him cry it out. I've tried. It does not work with him.
Do not tell me that it will resolve itself on its own. I will not gamble with my body or my sleep.
I will win. Of that I am sure.
