Tonight we ate dinner at "The Trough". It isn't really called that, of course. It is a buffet place where people can load up as many times as necessary. We like to take the girls there, and now the boy, so that they can eat whatever they want. Interestingly, except for mac and cheese, the girls eat very healthy foods at The Trough.
Tonight, Phill and I decided to try the mashed up Trough food for Finwe. Both girls at this age or a bit later would eat the insides of the lima beans served there. I peeled off the husk and mushed up the insides for Finwe. He eagerly grabbed my fingers and put them in his mouth. He then would lean forward for more once he was through mushing and swallowing.
I had gotten some cooked baby carrots, but they weren't cooked to mushy consistency (Surprising, huh? They were quite tasty, actually.). Phill suggested that I chew the carrot for Finwe. Huh! I thought. Why not?
I did. And, you should have seen the looks I got from the table next to me as I extracted a small amount from my mouth and gave it to Finwe. He loved it. I did it again. I also chewed some cooked ham for him as well. He liked that too.
Just call me Mama Bird. Yep, that's me.

Hee hee that is so funny. I want to do that to Alan and see what he says.
I saw a woman do that in a restaurant and I was sooooo grossed out. So that is what the people were thinking when they saw you. Sorry for the honest talk.
