There is a developmental milestone that can occur between 5 and 6 months of age: objecting when something is taken away from the baby. This is usually a toy, but with Finwe it is all about the food.
He protested when Phill took a sugar cookie away from him. (Yes, I'm aware of the fact that the baby shouldn't even have a sugar cookie, but he's the third kid. Nearly anything will go by the third one.) He protested last night when he dropped the cracker at dinner. He just finished protesting when he dropped the biter biscuit.
I've yet to see him upset when a toy is removed. Larien does this all the time; Finwe just doesn't mind.
