What Finwe Can Do at Three Months

Finwe is three months of age. I can't say the months have passed quickly, and I can say he has grown well. What a chunk of a baby he is. He's now moving past most 3-6 month sized clothes and into 9 month sized clothes. He was busting out of the Christmas outfits Mom Mom gave him, but he wore them. If you know of someone who will have a 3-6 month sized baby next Christmas, let me know. I have two neutral Christmas outfits that have been worn just once.

From my What to Expect the First Year book. Here's what Finwe can do at the end of the third month in addition to what I posted previously.

  • He squeals in delight now. Fun, fun, fun.
  • He holds his head steady when upright.
  • If I put him on his tummy with his arms underneath him, he can stay that way.
  • He grasps my figners, Inwe's fingers, White Dragon's ears.
  • He has rolled over twice. He nearly did it again today, but I kept him because there was poop everywhere.
  • He can bear some weight on his legs when held upright.
  • He's almost reaching for objects on the exersaucer.
  • He says vowel combinations and ah-goo.
  • And, lastly, he turns in the direction of my voice.
