How big after 12 days of life?

Much bigger!

Today was Finwe's two week check up as required for breastfed babies. He's really just 12 days old, but that didn't matter for his weight. Our big boy is now bigger--he weighs in at 5 kilograms. He was 4.455 kg at birth. That's a great weight gain. He also grew 5/8ths of an inch in the past week as well bringing him to 21 inches in length.

For those of you wanting to know his weight in pounds. Take 5kg and mulitply it by 2.2. That equals 11 pounds. Compare that to the 9 pounds 13.2 ounces at birth and you've got some great growth.
