Bless the Infant Carrier

For without it the children would have no dinner.

The dogs would have gone hungry.

Chocolate would have gone unmelted.

Crayons would have gone unused, kept whole, not broken into tiny pieces to melt onto the carpet.

Play-doh would have stayed supple instead of drying to a hard cake.

Tennis balls would have gone unthrown, stuck eternally under the sofa.
