I have a friend, La Lady, who is a compulsive cleaner and organizer. She is also someone who loves doing odd jobs for her living. (I should also mention that she is the woman who ran her own school for my friend, TWA Pilot, and I two years ago.) Due to La Lady's compulsiveness I asked her if she would take a job cleaning my house for me for the next few months or so. She jumped at the chance to make money and help me before the baby is born.
She came today to do the downstairs, and it is awesome. My house has never been better. I can't wait to see what she can do with the upstairs.
Am I embarrassed that she couldn't get it all done in the 4 hours she was here? No. After all, how many times can you enable a compulsive person and not feel as if you have done harm?
